Fishing

Blenheim Palace Lake

The Lake at Blenheim Palace is renowned for tench, perch and roach fishing in the summer and superior pike fishing in the winter. There are 16 boats available to hire to anglers only on the main lake. Each boat holds a maximum of 3 anglers. Fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout is also available.

There are numerous fishing opportunities in the area; Buscot Park Small lake is close by for Bream, Carp, Roach and Tench; Barnes Lake and Brookleas Fish Farm are great for Brown and Rainbow Trout. Drayton Park Golf Club

18 hole golf course open to visitors and members. They aim to give members and visitors a great round of golf. The course continues to develop and mature having been created in 1992 to a design by Oxfordshire based course architects Hawtree and Sons.
