Fresh & Local

Food at Brook Barn is incredibly important and we try very hard to source all our meat and vegetables from local producers. Fish is a little more tricky but we have a wonderful Fishmonger in our local Wednesday market.

We keep our own chickens so you can be sure that your breakfast eggs will be as fresh as possible. We are in the process of converting our paddock into a vegetable garden. By next summer we hope all our vegetables will be home grown. whenever possible our meat comes from local farms some of which are certified organic.

We pride ourselves on our breakfasts; picnics are delicious; afternoon tea is mouth-watering and our dinner menus are delectable. In the summer (weather permitting) we can serve you on one of the terraces.

We offer our Bistro menu from Tuesday - Thursday and our À la Carte menu on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

We try to source most of our meat from local producers such as Dews Meadow Farm
